The SDSU 2026 San Diego Angel Conference (SDAC) is dedicated to empowering early-stage accredited investors through comprehensive training, growth opportunities, community engagement, and networking. For startups, the program offers a unique opportunity to present their companies to early-stage investors with the potential to secure investment. Open to U.S.-based companies across industries. It is designed to be constructive for both entrepreneurs and early-stage investors. The process emphasizes clarity, meaningful feedback, and high-quality connections.
Early-stage investors collaborate to form an investment fund, culminating in this exciting one-day conference on May 29, 2026. On this day, you will see finalist companies pitch their ventures and the investment decisions made by the SDAC Fund VIII investors. There will be at least a $200,000* investment in one or more high-potential startups.

We are honored to welcome Eric Ries, author of The Lean Startup, as our keynote speaker. Eric will join us for an intimate fireside chat and will also host a signing for his new book, Incorruptible: Why Good Companies Go Bad… and How Great Companies Stay Great, set to release May 26, 2026.
In addition, the program will feature:
